THE CHICAGO ROVERS were formed in early 1988 in order
to consolidate their individual St. Patrick's Day engagements. Their
initial outings were such a success that they kept the group going and
performed at numerous clubs and private functions that year and began
recording a CD that contains their blend of traditional music with a
modern sensibility.
MICK ARCHER is a singer/pianist/guitarist well known for

In addition to his musical training at
the American Conservatory, Archer is a published poet and holds a degree

music by way of his appreciation of the great Irish literary tradition.
He has performed in Ireland, and recently was in a James Joyce tribute
at the Newberry Library.
