Formed in 2011, this award-winning group— chosen in 2013 to appear on a TV REALITY SERIES titled “Band Rescue”- pairing them with celebrity musicians to give them an upper edge in their quest to the top— with 2 songs currently spinning on radio both nationally and internationally, has quickly rocketed to the top in their region. They’ve also began to make a name for themselves in Nashville, playing clubs like Cadillac Ranch, Tootsies and more. Playing on radio: Insane Country Girls (2013) & Miss Communication (2012)
In 2012, 2013, and 2014 the band brought home the coveted regional award for Country Group of the Year at the RAMIs (Rockford [Illinois] Area Music Industry) as well as earning multi-year stage spots to play one of the nation’s largest country fests, Country Thunder USA in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin. The group’s original song “Miss. Communication” was also a nominee for WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) song of the year 2012.
The band plays out 2-4 times each week in the Midwest and beyond, and is well known for their kind-hearted philanthropy to area organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Hospital and military assistance benefits.
The band has opened for many national acts, including Justin Moore, Jamie Johnson, David Allan Coe Band, Randy Houser, Jo Dee Messina, Chris Cagle and more. The group’s commercial music venture was born out of Jamie’s success as a finalist in the CMT competition, Nashville Star.
The band’s original music has an edgy flare, but still stays within country limits, while covered artists include Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert, Randy Houser, Toby Keith, Trace Atkins and more. Jamie Campbell and the Redneck Romeos take country to a whole new level of live entertainment.
