“Aubree and I would like to thank you so much for being our Plenary Speaker for the Public Affairs Conference this year. It was amazing getting to know you personally and hearing your poetry and words. We understand you could not see the entire Q&A chat, but a plethora of people expressed how inspiring you made them feel. As we were running the Q&A portion, there was a moment where I was so captivated by your advice that I forgot to read you the next question. You did an amazing job, and we cannot thank you enough.”Aubree Young & Karissa Brock, Missouri State University

Check out all of Ebony Stewart’s workshops that can be done virtually:
writer’s block (60-90 mins.)
The Writers Block workshop is an opportunity to find your voice and find new ways to tell, revamp, or edit the same story as a way to ignite ideas for writing and creating with a purpose.
Expect discussion, digging, and honesty, as well as how to transfer those findings into poems. Expect to acquire the fundamentals of moving through writer’s block.
Participants will also have an opportunity to ask questions pertaining to performance and specific works.
sex, love & above (60-90 mins.)
Sexuality is more than just the “plumbing.” This workshop explores all the many layers of body image, sexual orientation, reproductive health & genitals, gender roles & identity, relationships, and love & affection. This will be done through discussion and activities that will allow us to investigate the stories we tell ourselves and how those stories interfere with how we see and accept others.
