Brave Space
Aloft Circus Arts; “Brave Space” is the building of a blanket fort, sneaking under a hoopskirt, an impulsive congregation in the tiniest of tents. Starting as a puddle of fabric on the floor, it grows to encompass a world of wondrous circus.
Intimate and low tech, we invite the audience to sit nose-to-nose with an all-female cast of bold acrobats to build the world we want to live in, even for only a few shared moments.
Brave Space requires 100% trust between the performers and the audience as together we physically construct the show and keep the artists aloft.
In Brave Space, the audience becomes an integral part of the performance, engaging in a playful yet profound exploration of creativity and community. The immersive experience invites attendees to contribute to the unfolding narrative, blurring the lines between spectator and performer. This collaborative spirit fosters a unique environment where imagination knows no bounds, allowing participants to discover new dimensions of connection and expression.
As the all-female cast of acrobats takes to the air, the audience’s support is vital to the magic of the performance. Together, they create a tapestry of trust, vulnerability, and shared joy that elevates the experience. Through the combination of trust and physicality, Brave Space transforms an ordinary moment into an extraordinary celebration of art, connection, and the limitless possibilities of human potential.
