In a male-dominated Celtic music scene, Galway Gals are a breath of fresh
air. Liz McNichols and Anna Gillan are highly trained musicians and
vocalists who have quickly become the #1 Irish duo in the Chicago area. In
addition to having beautiful vocal harmonies, both girls can shred on violin
and guitar, which oftentimes leaves concertgoers wildly impressed.
Their versatility has made them a great choice for corporate events,
country clubs, weddings, pubs, fests, senior homes, lunches and much
more. They come from the wedding and corporate band scene, so they
know what is expected from high-end events and have personally worked
with hundreds of planners to ensure success. They have also mastered the
art of performing for senior citizens after performing hundreds of shows in
senior facilities, making them part of the act and learning which songs they
appreciate the most.

They have a larger group, Galway Group, that they bring out for bigger
venues and budgets and have recently added more than 10 new
musicians, so they can also send out talented musicians from their
collective, when they are not personally available.
Galway Gals and Galway Group do it all—jigs, reels, traditional folk,
drinking songs, sentimental classics as well as songs from popular pop,
rock, alternative and country artists.
