Music is Where Nanny Nikki Finds Her HAPPY!

Nanny Nikki is a Grammy® Nominated Artist who loves to bring life to classic children’s songs as well as her original music.  Join her for a high energy, interactive, musical show including sing-along songs, dancing, puppets and more!  Either performing alone or with her band, The Dapper Dudes, Nanny Nikki’s Show is sure to have your audience shouting for joy! 

Nanny Nikki’s family always played folk music, and she grew up on Peter, Paul & Mary, Raffi, and Disney music. Her parents encouraged her to audition for the local children’s choir, which was an awesome introduction to singing well and in public. Not to mention, the director also offered voice lessons, much to Nanny Nikki’s excitement!

She found her favorite summer activity in going to Musical Theater camp and Music Camp – at least 9 summers were taken up between the two. She sang in a Gospel Choir for 12 years, competed in Vocal Music competitions, was the Student Director of her high school chorus, and had the lead in a few musicals while in high school. Nanny Nikki sang on the bus to and from Speech & Debate competitions, while warming up for lacrosse games, while cleaning her room, and babysitting neighborhood kids. After college, Nanny Nikki worked as a professional nanny for nearly 15 years… and she sang. ALL THE TIME!

Her nanny kids had songs that had become synonymous with her caring for them. Nanny Nikki has never had a time in her life when she wasn’t singing children’s music. Now that she is a Mother and caring for other children, she finds every excuse to have “music time.” The looks on the faces of small children when they hear a song that excites them makes her heart swell! Nanny Nikki loves to sing kids songs, and she hopes she gets the chance to spread that love to YOU!
